School Attendance and Leave Policy

In accordance with Norwegian regulations, any student who has 10 or more consecutive days of unauthorized absence will lose their school place. The student will be removed from the school register, and parents will need to submit a new application if they wish for their child to return.
If there is a waiting list, the place will be offered to the next student on the list.

We strongly discourage families from taking their children out of school outside of the official school holidays.

If parents need to temporarily remove their child from school, a leave request must be submitted:

• For up to 2 days of leave, requests can be made directly to the homeroom teacher via the Toddle Family App.

• For more than 2 days of leave, parents must complete and submit this application form.

Formålet med denne oppfølgingsplikten er å oppnå mer nærvær i skolen og forebygge at elever utvikler bekymringsfullt fravær, for å bedre muligheten for den enkelte til å fullføre og bestå opplæringen.
